Our Services

At NeuPath Speech Rehabilitation we provide rehabilitation, supports and education for people with an acquired communication difficulty. An acquired communication difficulty may arise as a result of stroke or other types of acquired brain injury (e.g. hypoxic brain injury, traumatic brain injury, seizures, oncological neurological conditions). We also work closely with communication partners such as family members, friends, support workers and employers/ colleagues.

Communication difficulties that we work with include:

  • aphasia

  • apraxia (verbal dyspraxia)

  • cognitive-communication impairment (including social/pragmatic disorder)

  • dysarthria

Additional services offered:

  • communication-partner training (with the client and their families, friends, support network)

  • return to work

  • group therapy

We work with people from soon after hospital discharge, through to many years post stroke or brain injury.
